What is Marsh.org?

Marsh.org is a community website for people interested in the Marsh name. It brings together Marsh-related links, family-history resources and requests for @marsh.org email addresses.

Who can request a Marsh email address?

Anyone can apply. You do not need to have the surname Marsh. Every request is reviewed and requires approval.

How do I request an email address?

Select Mail Signup, fill out the form, and press Submit. The site emails your request to the administrator. Wait for the confirmation message before closing the page.

Does submitting a request create my mailbox?

No. A request does not create an account or reserve an address. The site administrator must approve it and arrange the mailbox separately. Please use an existing email address on the form so you can be contacted about your request.

What happens to the information I provide?

Your name, current email address, preferred address and any notes are included in the email sent for review. The form forwards your request to the Marsh Administrator. Only include information needed for your application.

Where is Marsh email hosted?

Google is the hosting service for Marsh Family email. You must agree to Google’s Terms of Service (TOS) to use a Marsh.org email address. All Google services available to Gmail.com email accounts are available to Marsh.org email accounts.

Where can I find Marsh-related links and family history?

Visit Favorite Marsh Links for the updated directory, or Genealogy for the restored Marsh name-history and heraldry article. Historical resources may contain outdated information.

Can I suggest a link or upload a photo?

Use Add Link to suggest a website and choose its heading. The Photo Album button opens the public gallery, where you can select Submit a Photo. Submissions are sent to the administrator for review and are not published automatically.

Can I create a personal website here?

The former personal website service has been retired. It is not available in this restoration.
