Common Information

To have Notepad utility you need to check the corresponding checkbox in your site profile.
This utility allows you to view, modify plain text files (i.e. txt, html, etc).
This application does not work with binary files (like .doc, .jpg, ect).
Such files will not be opened and saved correctly.

To access your Notepad you need to click on the Notepad icon on your site page(s). This will take you to the notepad page. Notepad automatically opens the file you have modified during your last session. If this file is in the protected section (under private folder) and you're not logged in you'll be asked to.
If you cancel the login a new file will be opened in your public section (under shared folder).
