Common Information

    Calendar application is made to help you manage your events and plans.

    Using this application you can have your plans organized and you can be notified about upcomin events upon your wish.

    You can access your calendar either via "Calendar" icon on your site page(s) (viewing) or via calendar icon in hostsadmin application (editing).
    You have to be logged in both cases.

Login

    You can login by clicking "Calendar" icon on your site page(s)
    Input your login and password into the corresponding fields of a newly openned window and click "Login" button.

Viewing Records

    A list of records(events) is shown right upon openning the application (right after successfull login).

Adding New Contact

    To add a new event:

    1. Open your calendar in edit mode. You can do it either clicking on calendar icon in the hostsadmin application or clicking on "Edit Calendar" icon on your calendar page.
    2. Choose the month you want to submit the event.
    3. Click "Add" link on the date you want to submit the event.
    4. Fill in the fields with proper values.
    5. Click "Save".

Editing an Event

    To edit an event:

    1. Open your calendar in edit mode. You can do it either clicking on calendar icon in the hostsadmin application or clicking on "Edit Events" icon on your calendar page.
    2. Browse to the month and date of the event you wish to edit.
    3. Click on the event title link.
    4. Edit event contents and properties.
    5. Click "Save".

Deleting an Event

    To edit an event:

    1. Open your calendar in edit mode. You can do it either clicking on calendar icon in the hostsadmin application or clicking on "Edit Calendar" icon on your calendar page.
    2. Browse to the month and date of the event you wish to delete.
    3. Click on the delete icon () to the right of the event record.

Navigating through Calendar

    You can navigate through the calendar, clicking on the month link to the right of the month table layout, or selecting a month and a year and clicking "Go" icon.

Setting Preferences

    Here you can set the following parameters:

    • Time Zone; (used when sending upcoming event reminder)
    • Start Day Hour;
    • End Day Hour;

    To set preferences:

    1. Open your calendar in edit mode. You can do it either clicking on calendar icon in the hostsadmin application or clicking on "Edit Calendar" icon on your calendar page.
    2. Click on the "Preferences" button.

Setting Reminders

    When creating and/or editing and event you can set this event to be notified about on a time basis. This reminder will be sent to the mail address you provide on a SERVER time.
    This means that if your event should happen at say 6-30 in your area and it's only 1-30 in the area server is located, then the reminder will be sent when it's 6-30 in the area server is located.
    To eliminate the timezone difference use the Set Preferences where you need to choose your timezone.
